Liverpool FC victories & trophy-collecting exploits - at home and abroad!

ManUre getting beaten at any time - I absolutely loathe that club!

(And specially for any ManUre fans viewing this site, here's another look at your Y2K Christmas present from LFC,
delivered inside the confines of The House of Horrors!!)
The red half of Manchester - Trophy-Free Zone!!
(And long may it remain so!!)

I wonder what this leads to?

Stevie G lifts the FA Cup, while goalscorers John Arne Riise and Peter Crouch parade the Charity Shield in a champagne shower!!

Of course, I'm never unhappy when the All Blacks lose either! The saturation coverage afforded rugby - a minority sport in the global scheme of things - by the media in this country is the prime reason behind this stance.

Coverage of news and, particularly, sport in New Zealand shouldn't be determined by the perceived need for a "local angle" - this smacks of an ostrich-like mentality, and, to be perfectly blunt, is a form of brainwashing.

If local media outlets were far less introverted and less myopic in their outlook on the world, we would all be a great deal better informed on what's going on outside these fair shores, as well as within them. In this regard, thank grief for the internet!!
