Built in Slikkerveer, she is powered by two 3000hp MAK diesels, producing a service speed of 13 knots.

Equipped with two 300 tonne derricks, one 60 tonne derrick, strengthened decks, a removable tween deck, tweendeck pontoons which can be placed at different heights in the holds, tanks and pumps for heeling control, and a special stabiliser, allowing for a cargo capacity of 10000 cubic metres.

supplied by Jumbo Shipping & Navigation

One of a fleet of specially designed vessels operated by Jumbo Shipping and Navigation to carry unconventional cargoes, such as heavy and bulky loads, modular and conventional plant projects, and special transports.

While at Onehunga, she loaded 700 tonnes of gear, mostly asphalt-making and road-making equipment, for the $20m Downer-Fletcher joint venture project in Palau. Amusingly, she also carried nine runabout boats - purchased by the project staff for recreational purposes!

She became the biggest vessel to visit Onehunga when calling in July 1980, exceeding "Milburn Carrier"'s deadweight by 336 tonnes.

Jumbo Shipping sold her to Dutch interests in 1996, and she was soon in the hands of Singaporean clients, then, just as quickly, Cambodian operators. It is believed she went to the breakers yard in 2011.
