The Port may have been closed in November, and "Tika" is no longer alongside, but "Anatoki" defied the odds and ensured Onehunga would be utilised on one final occasion for freight operations, discharging gravel from Greymouth on her 22nd and final visit on 20-22 February 2017.

Following her departure, Onehunga will be a haven for fishing vessels only, with the annual hoki season during the summer months the period of most activity.
