Jennifer Capriati - one of life's true winners

One Of Life's True Winners
Jennifer Capriati is a young woman for whom I have an immense amount of time and respect.
She was a child prodigy who went off the rails to such an extent that she'd effectively dived over the edge of the cliff and hit the rocks below hard, her life, never mind her tennis career, in tatters.
That she has gathered herself together, climbed that cliff and got back on the rails to fully realise her potential is one of the truly outstanding stories of 21st century life - not just sport - thus far.
As well, what she has done offers huge incentive to all those who have fallen on hard times - if she can do it, they can too!
"JCap" has gone on to reach the pinnacle - number one in the world, and a small cluster of Grand Slam titles to her name as well. And while she's slipped down the rankings a little in recent months, and lost a couple of those hard-earned Grand Slam crowns, I, for one, would never bet against her reclaiming her place at the very top of the women's game.
For "JCap", to me, is a tremendous role model for the modern era, and a young woman who does not know when she's beaten - she's got that insatiable desire to win, which every true champion needs, in abundance.
She's spunky, sexy, an outstanding tennis player, and someone I really enjoy seeing in action, 'cause after what she's been through in her life, you can always count on her giving everything she's got for the cause.
