Job Title: Director of Women’s Technical Development
Location: New Zealand Soccer, Penrose, Auckland
Key Responsibilities:
 Support the Women’s International Player Development Strategy
 Responsibility for the preparation and development of International Teams by pre-agreed and pre-arranged roles of Head Coach or Assistant Coach
 Coordinate and Manage the Women’s Player Development Programmes on a National basis
 Coordinate and Manage the National Academy Programme for Girls
 Liaise with the Director of Technical Development on the National Academy Programme for Boys
 Develop and manage the Girls and Women’s Talent Identification Strategy to identify, monitor and record all players involved in Academy Programmes and International Teams through to and including overseas-based professionals.
 Involvement in Coach Education Development and Delivery
 Develop and manage the Elite Women Player, Elite Women Coach Programme
 Implement research projects aimed at the Women’s game, to circulate throughout New Zealand Soccer.
 Assist in maintaining current up-to-date information on the New Zealand Soccer Technical Department Website.
 Assist in the Development of Strategies to increase soccer participation
