In 2007, the Central Soccer Federation dropped the Premier League concept in favour of East and West Divisions, with an end-of-season play-off determining the champion club in the Central Soccer Region. Due to the dilution of the Premier League competition in this way, only the Honours Board was updated. Normal service temporarily resumed in 2010, but the East/West split resumed in 2011. The Central League First Division was reintroduced in 2025, rendering redundant the Central Federation Premier League, and prompting a return to the East and West Divisions to determine teams to contest the promotion play-offs to the First Division.
