GORDON CUP
Presented by Merv Gordon in 1954 for inter-provincial clashes between Canterbury and Wellington.
Initially played over two legs until 1967, the trophy was put in recess until 1988, when a one-off fixture took place. The fixture was revived in 1998. From 2005, it became the trophy at stake between the NZFC teams representing each region, rather than a full representative fixture.
