Built in Rotterdam, she is powered by one 1250hp Werkspoor diesel, producing a service speed of 13 knots.

She has four 5 tonne derricks.

She was chartered from her Dutch owners for island trading work in the mid-1970s, but her time on the run was short-lived, industrial action keeping her in Onehunga for a month. The seamen's picket arose because the ship had no NZ or island crew aboard, which was contrary to the trade agreement in place for Pacific Islands shipping. The charter was ended soon after.

She has since been operated by Panamanian interests, although whether she is still active is unknown.
